Hasier Etxeberria Canales (6 April 1957 Elgoibar - 29 March 2017 Gipuzkoa) was a Basque writer, presenter and columnist.

Life

Graduated in Psychology, he worked as a professor of Basque and editor of the information services of Euskal Telebista. In addition Sautrela literature program, directed and presented cultural programs Fahrenheit, Beti eskamak kentzen (Fahrenheit, scales no skirts), Babel, Ez dago larrosarik [There are no curly hair] and the gastronomic Zopa haundi [Great soup] and Lapikoka [Lapicock]. [1] He also conducted the special interview program to relevant Basque society figures, Euskaldunak, all of them in EITB. [2]

He defined himself as a storyteller, although he worked in different literary genres. The book of narrations Karramarroaren aztarnak was considered by the author himself as one of his best works. He made numerous collaborations in the written press, for which he received the Ricardo Arregui Journalism Prize in 1993. He was one of the creators of ZuZeu magazine .[3]
