Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University Sports Complex, is a sports complex in the Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University located at Hissar, Haryana. It houses SAI centres of excellence for Athletics, Boxing, Judo, Table tennis and Wrestling. It has cricket and football grounds, indoor gymnasiums, swimming pool, synthetic athletics and hockey track, hobby rooms, indoor badminton stadium with 2 courts, 2 indoor squash courts, two multipurpose halls for judo and wrestling, volleyball, etc.[1]

SAI Sports Training Centre, HAU Hisar (SAI STC, Hisar) was established in 2001.[2][3] Sports Authority of India (SAI) has established a "Sports Training Center" at HAU with "center of excellence" for imparting training in Athletics, Boxing, Judo, Table tennis and Wrestling (named after Sakshi Malik).[4][2],[3] hockey, boxing and judo.[5]

Facilities

An outdoor Olympic-size swimming pool with dive platforms are varying heights, two indoor badminton courts with a seating capacity for 600 spectators, two indoor Squash courts, two multipurpose halls, hobby rooms and indoor gymnasiums. The complex has a cricket ground, a football ground and an athletics stadium with a synthetic track of international standard for athletics and hockey.[6]

Events

The stadium has hosted a first-class match was played at the cricket stadium here between Haryana cricket team and Jammu and Kashmir cricket team on 11 November 1975 during the Ranji Trophy tournament.[7]
