Harry Tanfield (born 17 November 1994) is a British cyclist. He won a Silver medal in the 2018 Commonwealth Games in the Men’s Road Time Trial.[2][3]

From the north-east of England,[4] he rides for the Canyon Eisberg team.[5]

At the 2018 National Track Championships he won Bronze in men's team pursuit. At the 2018 British Cycling National Men's & Women's Omnium Championships he won Silver in the men's omnium. [6]

On the 3rd May 2018 he won the opening stage of the 2018 Tour de Yorkshire road race, from Beverley to Doncaster.[7] In August 2018 it was announced that Tanfield would step up to the UCI WorldTour for 2019, signing a two-year contract with Team Katusha–Alpecin.[8]

Personal life

His brother Charlie Tanfield is also a medal winning cyclist.[9]
