Hargrett Rare Book and Manuscript Library

The Hargrett Rare Book and Manuscript Library is located in Russell Special Collections Building at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia.[1] The Hargrett Library collection includes books and documents as early as the 15th century relating to Georgia history and culture, photographs, maps, broadsides, archives and records. The collection also includes holdings relevant to performing arts and natural history.[1] The library also hosts special exhibitions.[2] The Russell Special Collections Building is at 300 South Hull Street.

The Hargrett Library is one of three special collections libraries in the Russell Special Collections Building. Richard B. Russell Library for Political Research and Studies is one of the other two.
