Hardeek Joshi

Hardeek Joshi[1] is a Marathi Television and film actor[2] based out of Mumbai. He was born on October 6, 1988[1]in Mumbai, Maharashtra. After attending school, he completed his education from Guru Nanak Khalsa College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Mumbai, in 2009. He has been active on the Marathi television and film scene for the last couple of years.

Career

As of 2017, he plays Rana,[3][4] the central character of a wrestler, in Zee Marathi’s new show, Tujhyat Jeev Rangala.[5] His character falls in love with Anjali,[6] played by Akshaya Deodhar. In 2015, Hardeek played ACP Pathak in the Makarand Anaspure film, Ranga Patanga.[7] Before that, he has also acted in a show called Swapnachya Palikadale.

An ardent devotee of Shri Swami Samarth Maharaj, Hardeek was seen Zee Marathi’s shows like Asmita and Radha Hi Bawri. He also played a couple of special characters for Crime Patrol Dial 100,[2] which is among the most-watched non-fiction Hindi shows. His most loved performance by far was of a simple man in Star Pravah’s show "Durva"[2][8] where he played Purshottam Gokhale.

Passionate about bikes,[9] Hardeek has also been part of the Maurya Dhol Tasha Pathak, and often plays the dhol along with his group. He also participated with the team Thanyache Shilledar in a celebrity box cricket league for Marathi artistes.[2] His team won the competition.
