The Harbour Rocks Hotel is a heritage-listed 55-room boutique hotel situated in the precinct of The Rocks, in Sydney, Australia.[1][2] It is a four star-rated hotel,[1] and also houses the Lanes Restaurant & Bar on the lower level, complete with an outdoor terrace.[3]

History

Although a hotel only since 1989, the building, which is still known as Evans' Stores,[2] has undergone many changes over the years. Built by twelve convict carpenters, and sixteen hired men it sits on part of the original site of Sydney's first hospital.[2]

The building is listed on the New South Wales Heritage Register.[4]
