Hanieh Tavassoli (Persian: هانیه توسلی Hāniyeh Tavassoli, born 4 June 1979 in Hamedan) is an Iranian actress. She is the winner Crystal Simorgh for Best actress in Fajr International Film Festival 2012.

Early life

She was born on 4 June 1979 in Hamedan, Iran. Hanieh is a Persian name said to mean joy. Her father Nader died in 1999. She is the younger sister of the journalist and film critic Homa Tavassoli. She also has one older and two younger sisters.
