Hallvar Witzø

Hallvar Witzø (born 1984[1]) is a Norwegian film director. Witzø grew up in the small town of Leksvik in central Norway. He studied film directing at Lillehammer's Norwegian Film School, graduating in 2010.[1][2]

On January 24, 2012, he was nominated for an Academy Award for the film Tuba Atlantic.[3]

The nomination was later revoked due to the film's airing on television.
