Hal Lester (born April 13, 1955) is an American jazz and rock guitarist, and graphic artist.

Biography

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Lester grew up in Massapequa and trained with Dave Tucciarone. He studied music at the Berklee College of Music, graduating in 1977.[1]

He has worked with Pat Caddick,[2] Wayne Newton, and Danny Gans. He has also played with Scott Freilich, who was bass player for Ani Difranco on her Puddle Dive album.[3]

He has created many magazine covers and albums covers. As a graphic designer he has worked with Palm Springs Life.[4][1] He created graphics for the cover of Scott Freilich's band The Headers.[5] His work has been displayed in the Salvador Dalí Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida.

He is a member of the Grammy Recording Academy.[6]
