Hailemariyam Amare (born 22 February 1997) is an Ethiopian runner specialising in the 3000 metres steeplechase.[1] Hailemariyam placed 5th in the 2014 World Junior Championships.[2] He represented his country at the 2015 World Championships in Beijing finishing twelfth in the final.[3] He won a bronze medal at the 2015 African Games.[4] He participated at the 2016 Summer Olympics but failed to reach the final.[5] He placed 5th place in the 2016 World Challenge Beijing with a personal best time of 8:21.20.[1][6]
