Habanocnus ("Havana sloth") is an extinct genus of ground sloth indigenous to Late Pleistocene Cuba.[1] Some authors have proposed that the material of both named species (H. hoffstetteri and H. paulacouto) are not significantly distinguishable from Acratocnus antillensis, and so should be taxonomic synonyms.[2]
