H.O.S.H.

HOSH (born as Holger Behn in Hamburg, Germany) is a German DJ & producer. He is a big part in the record label Diynamic, owned by sometime flatmate Solomun and owner of fryhide.

Career

HOSH got into production because he wanted to know how the records he was playing week in, week out were put together. HOSH says “When it comes to producing, making music for me is like cooking – the meal / track gets better the more love you put in.”^[1]

HOSH broke into the music charts in 2010 with his EP Cash the Chord. Since, he's continued to remain a leading staple of Diynamic, playing pretty much weekly at Sankeys Ibiza for Neon Nights, while serving as an ambassador for his home city, Hamburg — another place with an extraordinary atmosphere, he believes. “It's just that we have the best air there, as it is the greenest city in Europe,” he says. “Our brains are working on double-speed because of this. But it is true, besides us from Diynamic there are also a lot of other acts and labels that place Hamburg as an important city on the electronic music map.”^[2]
