Høvåg Church (Norwegian: Høvåg kirke) is a parish church in Lillesand municipality in Aust-Agder county, Norway. It is located in the village of Høvåg. The church is part of the Høvåg parish in the Vest-Nedenes deanery in the Diocese of Agder og Telemark. The white, stone church was built around the year 1100 with designs by an unknown architect. Extensions to the structure were made in 1767 expanding its original size. In 1828-1831, the church was restored and a wing was added on to the north facing wall. The cruciform church now seats about 315 people. [1][2] [3]
