Gunnar Løvhøiden

Gunnar Løvhøiden (1939 – 7 February 2017) was a Norwegian physicist.

He was appointed as a docent at the University of Bergen in 1973. He later became professor, and then professor at the University of Oslo in 1992. He was a fellow of the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters, president of the Norwegian Physical Society and 2005 recipient of the Birkeland Award.[1]
