Guardtime is a software security company. It was founded in 2007 in Estonia and is headquartered in Amsterdam. The company developed a digital signature system based on blockchain technology. In 2015 the company partnered with Ericsson on a cloud computing project.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11]

In 2016, DARPA awarded a contract to Galois to do a formal verification of software by Guardtime.[12]
