Grigory Kravchenko

Grigory Panteleyevich Kravchenko (Russian: Григо́рий Пантеле́евич Кра́вченко) (1912-1943) was a lieutenant general of the Soviet Air Force and ace during the Great Patriotic War, twice Hero of the Soviet Union and recipient of several other awards. Along with Sergey Gritsevets, he was the first double Hero of the Soviet Union.[1] He was killed in action while commanding the 215th Fighter Division.
