The northern spiny dogfish, also known as brown dogfish, grey spiny dogfish, or Griffin's dogfish (Squalus griffini) is a dogfish described in 1931. It is a member of the family Squalidae, found off New Zealand. The length of the longest specimen measured is 89.9 cm (35.4 in).[2]
