Gregory J. Hayes (born 1960/61) is an American businessman, the chairman and CEO of United Technologies since September 2016.
Career
Hayes received a bachelor's degree in economics from Purdue University.[1]
Hayes became CEO of United Technologies in November 2014, when he took over from Louis R. Chênevert as CEO, following his abrupt resignation.[3] He became chairman in September 2016.[1]
He became a member of President Trump's American Manufacturing Council[4] in January 2017, but resigned[5] from the council on August 16, 2017.
