Gregory Eugene Johnson (born 1961/1962) is an American businessman, and the chairman and CEO of Franklin Templeton Investments, a company founded by his father, Charles B. Johnson.[2][3]
Early life
Johnson earned a bachelor's degree in accounting and business administration from Washington and Lee University.[4][1]
Career
Johnson has been the CEO of Franklin since January 2004.[1] In 2011, he earned US$6.61 million, and $49.93 over the past five years.[4]
In 2014, Johnson succeeded his father as chairman of Franklin Templeton Investments.[3]
Personal life
Johnson has a son and a daughter.[3]
