Greenbush Brewing Company is a brewery in Sawyer, Michigan, USA. It was founded in 2011 by Scott Sullivan and Justin Heckathorn[1]

History

In 2010, Scott Sullivan first announced plans to open up Greenbush Brewing Company in downtown Sawyer, MI. The bar opened in June 2011 after Sullivan, and business partner Justin Heckathorn received their state liquor license.[2]

In 2012, Sullivan released plans to add an outdoor patio area.[3]

Taproom

The taproom is located at 5885 Sawyer Rd in downtown Sawyer, Michigan. Prior to it being Greenbush Brewing Company it has been a number of other businesses including a laundromat, plumbing shop, and a car shop.[1] The beer is brewed onsite in a hand-crafted seven barrel kettle made by Fred Zaft.[4]
