Gowidon is a genus of arboreal lizards in the family Agamidae. The genus is endemic to Australia and New Guinea.

Species

Gowidon contains the following 2 species:[1]

  • Gowidon longirostris Boulenger, 1883 – long-snouted lashtail, long-nosed water dragon
  • Gowidon temporalis (Günther, 1867) – swamplands lashtail, northern water dragon

Nota bene: A binomial authority in parentheses indicates that the species was originally described in a genus other than Gowidon.
