Hostomel
Hostomel or Gostomel (Ukrainian: Гостомель, translit. Hostomel; Russian: Гостомель, translit. Gostomel) is a town in Ukraine's Kiev Oblast, north-western suburb to the capital city of Kiev. Administratively, it is subordinated to Irpin Municipality. Its population is approximately 14,832 (2017 est.)[1].
The town is mainly known as the location of the Gostomel Airport, a major international cargo facility. There is also a Vetropack glass factory in Hostomel.
