Google Trips is a trip planner mobile app developed by Google for the Android and iOS operating systems. The mobile app launched on September 19, 2016 for Android and iOS.[3][4]

Features

In order to use the app, a Google account is required.[4] Google Trips allows users to plan for upcoming trips with summarizing info about the user's destination in several categories such as day plans, reservations, and things to do.[3] The app launched with complete day guides to more than 200 major cities.[5]The mobile app also facilitates locating flight, hotel, car, and restaurant reservations for the trip based on emails from the user's Gmail.[6]

Justin Sablich from The New York Times compared the features in Google Trips similar to Gogobot.[5]
