The golden babbler (Stachyridopsis chrysaea) is a species of bird in the Timaliidae family.

It is found in south-eastern Asia from the Himalayas to Sumatra. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
