The golden-eared tanager (Tangara chrysotis) is a species of bird in the family Thraupidae (tanagers).

It is found in the eastern Andes of Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru where its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.[2]
