Glyphipterix achlyoessa is a species of moth in the family Glyphipterigidae. It is endemic to New Zealand.[1][2] This species was first described by Edward Meyrick in 1880 and named Phryganostola achlyoessa.[3][2] Meyrick used material he collected near the Wellington Botanic Gardens at dusk in January.[3][2] The holotype specimen is held at the Natural History Museum, London.[2]
