The glaucous-blue grosbeak (Cyanoloxia glaucocaerulea), also known as the indigo grosbeak, is a species of bird in the family Cardinalidae. The IOC considers it to be the only member of the genus Cyanoloxia. However, the South American Classification Committee of the American Ornithological Society assigns three more species to Cyanoloxia which the IOC place in genus Cyanocomsa.[2][3]
It is found in Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest, subtropical or tropical moist shrubland, and heavily degraded former forest.
