Gian Marco Centinaio (born 31 October 1971) is an Italian politician. He has served as the Minister of Agriculture since 1 June 2018 and Minister of Tourism since 2 July 2018, in the Conte Cabinet.
Born in Pavia, Centinaio received a Political Science degree from the University of Pavia in 1999.[1][2] In 2005 he was elected Municipal Counselor in his hometown, then, from 2009 to 2013, he was Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Tourism and Culture of the Municipality of Pavia.[1][2] Candidate in Lombardy with Lega Nord, he was elected senator in February 2013.[1][2]
