Ghuman Khurd

Ghuman khurd is a small village in the district and Tehsil Gurdaspur, Sub-Tehsil Naushera Majha Singh in the Majha region of the state of Punjab, situated in the northwest part of the Republic of India. This village is also known as Babe Wale Ghuman or Nikke Ghuman due to the name of Sant Baba Hazara Singh Ji. The village is situated at 4 km from the Amritsar Pathankot Road from adda Naushera Majha Singh and 2 km from Chhina Railway station on the Amritsar Pathankot railway line. 'Famous Personalities' Sant Baba Hazara Singh Ji, worshipped as a respectable holy figure in area. Labh Singh, from this village fought in World War-1, also played Hockey Worldwide from Indian-English team. According to sources his younger Brother, fought in World War-2, and from Azad Hind Fauj in Burmese War (headed by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose). Their families are still living in village.[1]
