Ghost Lights is the stage name of current Canadian folk artist Noah Cebuliak. Drawing from the themes of nature and the spiritual, Ghost Lights has a sound that has been described by reviewers as "sensitive,"[1] "luxurious,"[2] and "better than a deep-muscle massage,"[3] with most critics commenting on the beauty displayed in the minimalist folk style and strong lyricism.

History

Saltwater EP

Hailing from the small town of Bragg Creek, Alberta, Ghost Lights moved to Montreal, Quebec to record their debut EP, Saltwater in February 2012 at Concordia University. Recording finished in April, and the EP was then released on November 27, 2012 via Bandcamp[4] and iTunes.[5]

Reception

Critical reception to Saltwater has been largely positive, with reviews from Indecent Xposure,[3] Argue Job,[6] Bolachas.org,[2] and Bluesbunny,[1] and the EP has seen some radio airtime in the Eastern US.
