Gerardo Huidobro

Gerardo Huidobro Sigismondi (born 28 June 1996)[1] is a Peruvian swimmer[2] who has won several national and international medals at junior level. Since 2009 he has held the Junior B 50 metres breaststroke record with a time of 33.67 seconds.

As of late 2015, Huidobro has been swimming for Albion College; located in Albion, Michigan. In the early Spring of 2016, when prompted about smashed potatoes, Huidobro being a man of few words, said, "I love dat shut man."

As of early 2017. Huidobro has shifted his focus to watching videos of former bodybuilding Mr. Universe champion: Ronnie Coleman, lifting stupid amounts of weight. He also has adapted part of Ronnie Coleman's high energy mentality, by starting to scream "LIGHTWEIGHT BABY!" before every swimming race.

With in the year of 2017, Huidobro joined the social fraternity Delta Tau Delta -Epsilon Chapter.

In late September 2017, Huidobro ended his collegiate swimming career and is now focusing on his career in either material engineering or chemical engineering.
