George Washington Aldridge II (December 28, 1856 – June 6, 1922) was a Republican politician from New York state.
Life
Aldridge was born on December 28, 1856. He married Mary Josephine Aldridge and had one child.[1]
Career
From 1894 until March 1895, he served as the Mayor of Rochester, New York. He was considered a Republican party boss in Rochester.[2]
He was appointed Collector of the Port of New York in 1921 by his friend President Warren G. Harding.
