George Truefitt
George Truefitt (1824–1902) was a Scottish architect.[1] He trained under Lewis Cottingham.[2]
Career
Truefitt is famous for designing over 25 different buildings throughout England[1] and over 15 other countries.[1] In his career, Truefitt designed over 250 structures.[2] He wrote a number of books, including Designs for Country Churches.[1] He also inspired Calvert Vaux in the latter's designs.
