George Moleski (born 27 July 1987) is an English former footballer. Playing as a midfielder, he began his career at League One side Brentford, before dropping into non-league football.

Career

Brentford

Moleski began his career as a youth at Brentford.[2] Moleski's first involvement with the first team came on 9 October 2004, when he was an unused substitute for a 0–0 League One draw at Barnsley.[3] Moleski was named as a substitute for the last game of the 2004–05 regular season at home to Hull City.[3] 17-year-old Moleski made his debut after 56 minutes of the 2–1 win, coming on for Ryan Peters.[4] He failed to feature during Brentford's unsuccessful playoff campaign.[3] He made his first appearance of the 2005–06 season in a Football League Trophy first round shootout defeat to Oxford United on 18 October, replacing Eddie Hutchinson after 56 minutes, though Moleski himself was replaced by Ryan Watts during extra time.[5] He was not called into the first team again and was released in February 2006.[2][6]

Slough Town (loan and permanent signing)

Moleski signed for Isthmian League Premier Division side Slough Town on a work experience loan in January 2006,[7] which turned into a permanent deal after his release from Brentford the following month.[2] He made 14 appearances during the remainder of the 2005–06 season.[7] Moleski made 31 appearances during the 2006–07 season and scored the first senior goal of his career in a 3–2 defeat to Tonbridge Angels on 10 March 2007.[8] Moleski was released by club after the 2007–08 season,[9][10] a season which culminated in a bottom place finish and relegation to the Southern Division One South & West.

Penn & Tylers Green

After a period playing in Cyprus, Moleski signed for Hellenic League Division One East side Penn & Tylers Green in 2010. He made his debut in a 4–1 extra time Berks & Bucks Saturday Intermediate Cup win over Frilsham & Yattendon on 11 December.[11] He made his league debut in the next game, a 1–1 draw with league leaders Henley Town on 3 January 2011.[12] Due to an injury crisis, Moleski filled in at centre back during a 4–0 defeat to Woodley Town on 20 April.[13] He made seven appearances for the club and scored no goals.[14]

Flackwell Heath

Moleski moved to Hellenic League Premier Division side Flackwell Heath in the summer of 2011.[15] He made his debut in a 2–0 win over Henley Town on 29 August.[16] He made five first team appearances for the club and three appearances for the reserves, scoring in a 7–3 defeat to Binfield Reserves on 27 September.[16]
