George Andrews (bishop)

George Andrews, MA (1576–1648) was an Anglican priest in the early seventeenth century.[1]

Born in England, he was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford.[2] He was appointed Dean of Limerick in 1603;[3] Precentor of St Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin in 1600;[4] and Bishop of Ferns and Leighlin in 1633.[5]

He died in October 1648 and is buried at St Clement Danes in the City of Westminster, London.[6]
