Geoffrey Smith (born c.1934 (1934)), also known by the nickname of "Geoff", is an English former professional rugby league footballer of the 1950s and 1960s. He played at representative level for Great Britain, and at club level for York, as a wing, or centre, i.e. number 2 or 5, or, 3 or 4.

Playing career

International honours

Geoff Smith won caps for Great Britain while at York in 1963 against Australia, and in 1964 against France (2 matches).[1]

County Cup Final appearances

Geoff Smith played left-centre, i.e. number 4, in York' 8-15 defeat by Huddersfield in the 1957 Yorkshire County Cup Final during the 1957–58 season at Headingley Rugby Stadium, Leeds on Saturday 19 October 1957.[2]
