Geoff Cottrill

Geoff Cottrill (born July 4, 1963) is a marketer in the United States. He is the president of MullenLowe Lintas Group in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to joining MullenLowe, he was Chief Marketing Officer and General Manager of Converse, a subsidiary of Nike, Inc.

Prior to Converse, Cottrill held the position of Vice President at Starbucks Entertainment Hear Music in Seattle, Washington.[1]

Prior to Starbucks, he spent nine years as head of The Coca-Cola Company's entertainment marketing team. Before joining Coca-Cola, he spent nearly 11 years at Procter & Gamble in various sales and marketing roles.

Cottrill graduated from Florida State University in 1985 with a degree in Economics, and a minor in British Studies / International Affairs.

He was previously on the Board of Directors for Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants as well as the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston

In 2014 he was appointed vice-chair of MusiCares, a philanthropic organization associated with the Grammy Awards.[2]

He was named one of Brandweek's "Marketers of the Year" in 2010.[3]

He has two daughters. One of which, Claire Cottrill, is a musical artist who is known as Clairo.
