Geno DeMarco

'Geno DeMarco' is a College Head Football coach and former player. He is the current head football coach at Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, a position he has held since 1993.He is the winningest coach in Geneva football history. DeMarco is ranked in the top 12 in winning pct of coaches who have been at a school for 25 years in entire nation (at every NCAA division).His career record is 144-112.Geneva has won 4 NCCAA National Football Championships, with a Victory Bowl Record of 5-1 and played in the NAIA National Championship Series 4 times before its move to NCAA Division 3 under DeMarco.He has been named coach of the year 11 times during his tenure.In 1998 Geneva reached its highest ranking in school history being ranked #1 in the nation in NAIA for three weeks. Over 130 of his former players have entered into coaching over the last 25 years.DeMarco was Geneva College’s first NAIA Academic All-American in 1984 as an Outside Linebacker earning 3 degrees as a student on College Hill.He earned an MBA at West Virginia University while coaching for College Football Hall of Fame Coach Don Nehlen. DeMarco got his start at Georgia Tech under another Hall of Fame Coach, Bill Curry. He is an assistant professor teaching in Geneva’s Nationally Accredited Business Department. DeMarco also served as Geneva’s Athletic Director for 10 years and helped overseeing the renovation of legendary Reeves Field in 2006. Geneva has been ranked in the top 10 nationally for 7 years in average home attendance.DeMarco is a member of two Hall of Fames, New Brighton High School Hall of Fame and Beaver County Hall of Fame. The impact on his players over the last quarter century is attributed to an integration of Christianity and Football as each player has been mentored in “The More than Conquerors Leadership Program”.
