Gelechia thymiata is a moth of the Gelechiidae family. It was described by Meyrick in 1929. It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from Arizona.[1][2]

The wingspan is about 20 mm. The forewings are brown, with faint rosy tinge, sprinkled darker and paler and with a small dark fuscous spot on the base of the costa. The discal stigmata are small, dark fuscous. The hindwings are grey.[3]
