Garidepally is a census town in Suryapet district in Telangana, India. It is the headquarters of Garidepally mandal of Suryapet revenue division.[1] It is located 33 km from district headquarters, Suryapet.

It is in the 112 m (367 ft) elevation (altitude) .

Demographics

Garidepally has population of 10,836 of which 5,417 are males while 5,419 are females as per Population Census 2011. The literacy rate of village was 64.81 % where Male literacy stands at 74.62 % while female literacy rate was 55.08 %. [2]

Politics

It falls under Huzurnagar Assembly constituency and the village is administrated by Sarpanch , who is elected representative of village.

Garidepally is a location of many temples. Famous Ramalayam Temple, Hanuman temple, shri Ramalingeshwara Temple, Shri Dharmashstra Ayyappa teple, Lord Venkateshwara Temples are famous.

AGRICULTURE

Most of the people in this village are depending on Paddy crop cultivation.
