Garcorops is a genus of spider in the family Selenopidae, found in Madagascar and the Comoro Islands.[1]

Species

As of April 2016, the World Spider Catalog accepted the following extant (living) species:[1]

  • Garcorops jocquei Corronca, 2003 – Comoro Is.
  • Garcorops madagascar Corronca, 2003 (type species) – Madagascar
  • Garcorops paulyi Corronca, 2003 – Madagascar

In addition, one species is only known from a fossil found in a kind of tree resin (copal) in Madagascar:[2]
