Gabriella Goliger
Gabriella Goliger (born 1949)[1] is a Jewish Canadian novelist and short story writer.[2] She won the Journey Prize in 1997 for her short story "Maladies of the Inner Ear",[2] and has since published two books, Song of Ascent in 2001[2] and Girl Unwrapped in 2010.[3]
Born in Italy, Goliger grew up in Montreal, Quebec, and studied English literature at McGill University and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She currently lives in Ottawa[4] with her partner, Carleton University academic Barbara Freeman.
