Fried mushrooms are made by frying or deep frying mushrooms that have been dipped in batter.[1] In the United States and some other countries, they are often served as an appetizer or snack.

These fried mushrooms are often served with ranch, because they will add spices to the batter for flavor. These spices are similar to those seen in stuffed mushrooms.

Some mushrooms are also sold along the roads in Bali, usually in packets.
