Frederik Christian Kaas (1 December 1727 - 28 March 1804) was a Danish naval officer and landowner, brother of Ulrik Christian Kaas. He joined the navy as a second lieutenant in 1747, became a viceadmiral in 1790 and an admiral in 1800. On 7 January 1765, he was married on Constantinsborg to Sophie Elisabeth Charisius who died only 4 years later. He was appointed Knight of the Order of the Dannebrog, he also led Denmark–Norway in the Danish–Algerian War with 2 frigates, 2 bomb galiots and 4 ships of the line.
