Programs

Fraser Heights Secondary offers a wide variety of academic, athletic, and fine arts programs that have gained high acclaim across the Lower Mainland. Fraser Heights is a branch school to the late French immersion program offered at Fraser Wood Elementary and Erma Stephenson Elementary.

The Fraser Heights Senior Badminton team captured the school's first ever senior provincial AAA title by winning the 2012 provincial championships over private school powerhouses Vancouver College / Little Flower Academy, and their second in 2014 winning the Senior AAA championships over St. Georges / Crofton House. The senior badminton team then won the provincial championships again in 2015 and 2016. The volleyball program has grown to modest acclaim in past years, with a combined 14 Surrey championships, 3 Fraser Valley championships and are consistently ranked in the Top 3 Senior Boys AAA provincial rankings.

One of Fraser Heights' academic programs is a joint venture with Simon Fraser University called Science Academy. It is an all-year course that extends over the period of 2 years, from grade 11 to grade 12. The course combines: Pre-Calc 12, AP Calculus BC, Chemistry 11 and 12, Physics 11 and 12, AP Physics I and II, and a choice between Chemistry and Computer Science at Simon Fraser University. Moreover, Fraser Heights offers a variety of advanced courses, including honours courses in Math, AP Calculus AB, and AP Calculus BC.
