Francisco Calvo Serraller

Francisco Calvo Serraller (born 1948) is a Spanish historian.

Life

He was born in 1948 in Madrid.[1][2]

Career

He completed his Doctorate in Philosophy and Literature specializing in History at the Complutense University. He has been a member of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando since 2001. He was Director of the Prado Museum. He is a regular contributor to the newspaper El País, since its founding in 1976.[1][2]
