Fort Crawford (Alabama)

Fort Crawford once provided defense for Alabama settlers in what is today East Brewton, Alabama. While the exact location of historic Fort Crawford is unknown, locals claim it once stood on the banks of Murder Creek near the present-day location of First Baptist Church in East Brewton.

Fort Crawford was already abandoned in 1817.[1]
