Formicola (Campanian: Furmìcola or Frummìcola) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Caserta in the Italian region Campania, located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) north of Naples and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northwest of Caserta.
Formicola borders the following municipalities: Camigliano, Giano Vetusto, Pietramelara, Pontelatone, Roccaromana, and Rocchetta e Croce.
