Football Gold Coast is a Football Queensland administrative zone encompassing Gold Coast, Queensland.

Football Gold Coast objectives

The objectives of Football Gold Coast as an organisation is, as follow:

  • To foster and develop soccer and all its derivatives
  • To manage and administer soccer within the district (area as defined by the State and National bodies and includes the areas within the boundaries of The Gold Coast City Council, Tweed Shire Council, Beaudesert Shire and Queensland Junior Soccer boundaries
  • To affiliate with and appoint officials to State, National or other soccer or associated bodies to foster and develop soccer within and outside the district
  • To foster, develop and promote refereeing and implement associated disciplinaryprocedures to ensure the orderly and safe conduct of soccer in all its aspects
  • To incorporate and include the courses, seminars, other advice or information provided by the governing bodies and internal development plans within the Gold Coast Soccer calendar and official publications.
  • To foster and develop coaching by incorporating clinics, courses conducted within the Gold Coast Soccer calendar and official publications and to emphasize and implement procedures for the appointment of certified coaches of all age groups from junior to senior levels of soccer
  • To embrace the administration of all ages of both men and women's soccer within Gold Coast Soccer and/or any of its derivatives.
