The Florida Fire Frogs are a minor league baseball team that plays as a member of the Florida State League in Kissimmee, Florida, part of the Greater Orlando metropolitan area.[1] Founded in 2017, the team is the Class A-Advanced affiliate of the Atlanta Braves.[1] They play their home games at Osceola County Stadium. The team's name was announced on October 26, 2016, at the conclusion of a name the team contest.[2] The finalists from which the team's name was selected were: Florida Dragonflies, Florida Fire Frogs, Florida Mud Kickers, Florida Rodeo Clowns, Florida Sorcerers, and Florida Toucans.[3]
The team is the relocation of the Brevard County Manatees.
